Jesus had just dined with a particular Pharisee and after that a great crowd surrounded Jesus and we pick His narrative in Luke 12:8,9 – “Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. But he who denies Me before me will be denied before the angels of God.” The issue here is faithfulness in testimony of Jesus, especially in the context of religious rejection. Acknowledging Jesus before men means being acknowledged by the Son of Man before God. Every act of denial of Christ on earth will meet with commensurate denial of reward at the judgment seat. Happy Friday all – have a blessed weekend!
