Give Give Give. Give abundantly. Feel that you are rich. Have no mean thought in your heart. Of Love, of thought, of all you have, give, give, give. You are followers of the World’s Greatest Giver. Give of time, of personal ease and comfort, of rest, of fame, of healing, of power, of sympathy, of all these and many more. Learn this lesson, and you will become a great power to help others and to do mighty things.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8: “But this I say: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” Giving is like sowing seed. The amount of the harvest is determined by the amount of the seed sown. As believers, we are to give freely and cheerfully, not out of compulsion, and without regret. If we give, God is able to give us more so that we can perform other good works.

Galatians 6:7-10: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” It is a vain attempt to mock God for a Christian to think that if he sows to his flesh he can escape the harvest of destruction and judgment that comes upon those who
participate in sin. “He who sows to the Spirit will reap everlasting life” does not mean that eternal life is earned by works. Rather, Paul is saying that everlasting life is the glorious end of those who follow the guidance of the Spirit. Jesus said that He came so that we might have eternal life and have it more abundantly. In this life through the indwelling of the Spirit, Christians are developing a capacity to experience Christ to the fullest in the life to come.

Continuous Service – Service is the Law of Heaven. My angels do always obey. “They serve Him continually” can be said of all who love Me. With Love there is continuous service in every action, and also even in rest. Take this not as the end but as the beginning of a new Life consecrated to My service. A Life of Power and Joy.

Romans 7:21-24: “I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God – through Jesus Christ our Lord!” The “inward man” is virtually synonymous with the mind and it finds “delight” in the law of God. This delight causes believers in Christ to want to align themselves with the new nature God has imparted to us. The wretched or distressed or miserable man is the believer when he or she is defeated by sin. This defeat occurs whenever the believer fails to live in the power supplied by the Spirit. Blessings brothers and sisters for a FAB weekend – enjoy the cooler evenings!

God Calling

Today I have a new source of daily Spiritual blessings. My wife turned me on to a book transcribed by A.J. Russell called “God Calling.” He writes “I did not write this book. I wish that I had done so. My simple task has been to prepare it for publication and to present it to the public. Not one woman but two have written this book; and they seek no praise. They have elected to remain anonymous and to be called “Two Listeners.” But the claim which they make is an astonishing one, that their message has been given to them today (1932), here in England, by the Living Christ Himself. Through this message, which came to two lonely women, you will find that you are no longer one and alone, but two and united with the Great Companion and Guide, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” I have read this book for about a month. I am familiar
with this language and I do believe this is indeed from Jesus Christ – for us all. So on the days we will use this as our reading for the day, it will be “God Calling” and not “theWord.” Make up your own minds – pray over it as I have. This passage I share today is from August 7th. I have lived it since I first read it and I can tell you – it works and is another Spiritual tool in the fight against Satan. Sorry for this being so long winded, but I wanted you to understand the background since I will be deviating from bible scripture on occasion. Remember this (according to the Two Listeners) Jesus is speaking: This is very intense language, so read slowly and process the message – it takes a few reads to get it….

“Our Lord, Bless us and keep us, we beseech Thee”
“My Keeping power is never at fault, but only your realization of it. Not whether I can provide a shelter from the storm,
but your failure to be sure of the security of that shelter. Every fear, every doubt, is a crime against My Love. Oh! children,
trust. Practice daily, many times a day, saying ‘All is well.’ Say it until you believe it, know it.”

Proverbs 10:16, 17 – “The labor of the righteous leads to life, the wages of the wicked is sin. He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, but he who refuses correction goes astray.” These verses present the doctrine of the two ways: the righteous is on the way of life, but the wicked wander from it. Stay on the righteous path and receive God’s eternal blessings.
