This scripture centers around the burning bush and God telling Moses He wanted Moses to speak with His people. WE pick it up in Exodus 3: 13, 14: “The Moses said to God, ‘Indeed, wen I come to the children of Israel and say to them, “The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, ‘What is His name? what shall I say to them.”‘ And God said to Moses. ‘I AM WHO I AM.’ And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.” The One who spoke to Moses declared Himself to be the Eternal One. – uncaused and independent. Only the Creator of all things can call Himself I AM in the absolute sense, all other creatures are in debt to Him for our existence.
