The book of James offers some prayerful advice in James 5:15,16: “And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Anything we pray for that aligns with the Father’s plan will be granted. And the more time we spend with Him, the more we’ll come to understand His will and how to pray for it. Remember, prayer doesn’t change God’s mind, but it does transform the believer’s heart. Whatever the Lord’s response or timing, we trust that He has only the very best in store for His children.
