It’s all about our main man! Psalm 95: 1-3 – “Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, and the King above all Gods.”

Revelation 6: 7-9: ” When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, ‘Come and see.’ So I looked, and behold a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.” The current song “Apocalyptic” sums it up nicely – “When will it come? It is on the way!”

A great sentiment to take with you this weekend my friends comes from Moses in Deuteronomy 11:1 – “Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always.”

Ephesians 2: 8, 9, 10 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” SO the grace of God is the source of salvation; faith is the channel. Salvation never originates in the efforts of people; it always arises out of the lovingkindness of God.

King David provides some positive vibes in Psalm 37: 3, 4 – “Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

“Jesus answered, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit.'” In a nutshell – Flesh cannot be made into spirit. A person must experience a spiritual rebirth.

Jesus tells us a vital fact in Luke 17: 20, 21 – “Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, ‘The kingdom of God does not come with observation; not will they say “See here!” or “See there!” For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.'”
